Overview

I discovered the client on Google Maps and noticed that their existing website was empty.

Without social proof of my B2B engineering abilities, I mocked a tiny demonstration site to illustrate my skill and drove down to the restaurant. Thankfully, the owner was present, which marked the beginning of a fruitful journey in client engagement.

Architecture

The frontend is built on Next.js, chosen for its support of rapid development, deployment, and built-in SEO capabilities like server-side page rendering and metadata support.

For ease of use for the client, I elected to build the site fully dynamically with a headless content management system as the backend.
